Giant Squids!

I've been trying desperately to drum up some business for these guys. They take a lot of supplies, time and effort to make, so they're kind of expensive, but totally worth it!! They're comfortable pillows that will keep you warm all through the winter, and will listen to your problems and not judge.

Practice Stuff

So I'm pretty aware that no one reads this blog, but I like to think that one day when my name is a little bit more well-known, my fans can look back at this blog and say "Oh, so that's the kind of stuff she would post. You can see she's gotten a lot better. Also, this cheese tastes great."

Yeah, I imagine that's what they'll say as they eat their little wheel of Laughing Cow.

Anyway, I'm just updating with some color/lineart practice pieces.




It's a lady! An evil lady, probably. Also naked, but we won't get into that.





Here's one of my characters from way back, and this is me changing his character design a little and coloring him in Copics with a screentone overlay in Photoshop because maybe I think it looks cool all right?




Last but not least, it's the butler again, because man do I love this guy. I'm trying to figure out Photoshop and it's coming slowly...

I would like to have money soon, please.

Halloween 2010

Not much going on here, but I thought I'd post a picture from Halloween of me and my cousin, wearing our homemade costumes. I'm the Witch from Left 4 Dead and he's the awesome mini-Subject Delta from Bioshock 2!



His costume is amazing; not bad for a 12-year-old, huh? We should start our own costume business!

Art Nouveau 2

Just updating with another Art Nouveau/manga hybrid. Again, I did this one a few weeks ago, so it's being posted fairly late.



So far we've got The Butler and The Healer, this week's will be The Priestess. She's already inked, I've just got to get her colored.

Things are a little rough right now, and I'm under some fiscal stress, so I'd like to emphasize the fact that I am always up for commissions.

As a side note, How to Train Your Dragon was just as good as I remembered.

Art Nouveau 1

I'm trying my hand at Art Nouveau! Or rather a manga/Art Nouveau hybrid? I drew and colored this one about two weeks ago, but have only recently thought to post it here. I'm aiming for one character a week, but it really depends on my work schedule and how okay/horrible things are going for me.

Hahah...sigh.

I did this about a month ago, as the cover for the mini-comic I made for my friend's birthday. They're foxes and also best friends maybe?
